The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dino Di Nucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Claudio Garibaldi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Huckebein's Luisito Luzaide. Luisito Luzaide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Damaso Hechter came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Huckebein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Hechter couldn't finish the play. Delmar Hug blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filippo Punta having to make a save. Samuel Gorbea might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippo Punta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Gorbea ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Damaso Hechter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filippo Punta was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio De Leonardis. 16 minutes into the match, Huckebein's Samuel Gorbea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filippo Punta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Chumo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Punta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carloforte f.c.'s zone, Damaso Hechter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Punta came out of the goal and Damaso Hechter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huckebein's Luisito Luzaide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Huckebein from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Dino Di Nucci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisito Luzaide. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Luisito Luzaide made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Claudio Garibaldi sent off a good shot on target. Luisito Luzaide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Garibaldi in the 27th minute of play. Ferdinando Carosella scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Luzaide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luisito Luzaide made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ferdinando Carosella sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Damaso Hechter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huckebein fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Ferdinando Carosella took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Luisito Luzaide to make any attempt to save it. Claudio Garibaldi's late challenge caught a Huckebein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Garibaldi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Claudio Garibaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Garibaldi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carloforte f.c.'s zone, Samuel Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Punta came out of the goal and Samuel Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinando Carosella to strike the kick off in the second half. Delmar Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Garibaldi in the 59th minute of play forced Huckebein's goalkeeper Luisito Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huckebein's Luisito Luzaide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Carosella in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Delmar Hug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huckebein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carloforte f.c. the free kick. Delmar Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Dino Di Nucci hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Lorenzo Cuartio fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huckebein's protests and gave Lorenzo Cuartio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Lorenzo Cuartio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Andrea Capasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisito Luzaide. Huckebein's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Damaso Hechter scored 5-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filippo Punta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Huckebein booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Garibaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Luzaide came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Carloforte f.c.'s Dino Di Nucci. But to his dismay, Dino Di Nucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 90th minute, Claudio Garibaldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Carloforte f.c.'s Dino Di Nucci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Luzaide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Garibaldi in the 95th minute of play forced Huckebein's goalkeeper Luisito Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
