LA DEL MONO's Jacinto Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Di Nucci in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Di Nucci in the 57th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Jacinto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA DEL MONO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinando Carosella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dave Ottaviani's late challenge caught a LA DEL MONO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Ottaviani helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Alfonso Raniolo got a free kick in the 95th minute.
