After a defensive mix-up in Carloforte f.c.'s zone, Leandro Bingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Punta came out of the goal and Leandro Bingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalo Oliveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Di Nucci in the 4th minute of play. Gonzalo Oliveiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinando Carosella's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Ferdinando Carosella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Oliveiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute, Ferdinando Carosella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carloforte f.c. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gonzalo Oliveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Di Nucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Carloforte f.c. were awarded a corner. Fedele Di Croce went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Carloforte f.c.'s Fedele Di Croce to fire away a dangerous shot which Gonzalo Oliveiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s Dino Di Nucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonzalo Oliveiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonzalo Oliveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Fabrizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dino Di Nucci succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinando Carosella in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Oliveiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonzalo Oliveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Fabrizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes, Cristo Iraitz made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Carloforte f.c.'s Filippo Punta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sp. Yoniyones's Gonzalo Oliveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Di Nucci in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Federico Fabrizi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Sp. Yoniyones players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sp. Yoniyones booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Fabrizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dino Di Nucci hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Dino Di Nucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Di Nucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzalo Oliveiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Di Nucci in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Dino Di Nucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Oliveiro. Sp. Yoniyones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Di Nucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 61st minute, Federico Fabrizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sp. Yoniyones's goalkeeper Gonzalo Oliveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Sp. Yoniyones's Gonzalo Oliveiro got control of the ball when Ferdinando Carosella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carloforte f.c.'s Federico Fabrizi got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Federico Fabrizi off the ground. Dino Di Nucci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonzalo Oliveiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Dino Di Nucci slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 80th minute. Dino Di Nucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Mero hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
