Ştefan Gârniceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gavril Burnei put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Calvin Miel. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lutanu's zone, Pierre-Loup Guérinet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Gârniceanu came out of the goal and Pierre-Loup Guérinet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Cornel Dindelegan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lutanu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunar Park the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Lutanu's Cornel Dindelegan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Gavril Burnei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calvin Miel. Lunar Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavril Burnei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Stanislas Salingue hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Pierre-Loup Guérinet fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunar Park's protests and gave Pierre-Loup Guérinet a yellow card for diving instead. Lunar Park's Calvin Miel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Geambașu in the 79th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Lunar Park got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Loup Guérinet. Calvin Miel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Grozăvescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Gavril Burnei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Miel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lunar Park getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pierre-Loup Guérinet hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Gavril Burnei shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calvin Miel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
