Gogo Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Stabbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Gogo Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Fabian Kråk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Donato Osasun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Maradona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIF the free kick. Donato Osasun hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The AIF fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when AIF's Fabian Kråk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. AIF's Gustaf Låsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Kråk in the 24th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Gogo Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Manex hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Bengt-Arne Stabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Osasun was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gogo Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Stabbe in the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Fabian Kråk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gogo Pes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gogo Pes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Arne Stabbe went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Fabian Kråk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gogo Pes. The goal made the score 0-6. Bengt-Arne Stabbe scored 0-7 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gogo Pes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Stabbe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Gogo Pes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Melquiades Manex got a free kick in the 73rd minute. AIF's Gustaf Låsberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gogo Pes but with some difficulty. The AIF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
