With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Pizziolo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Giampieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Miel having to interfere. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Helaine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Lunar Park's attentive Sam Brot managed to snatch the ball when Eraldo Ferreri made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Dave Saturno kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Lunar Park booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Rondinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Albert Helaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calvin Miel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Flammini, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Adriano Giampieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Loup Guérinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Antonio Pizziolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Ferreri made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dave Saturno.
