Dráuzio Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Cesar Criston made a huge save. Waldemar Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cesar Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ignacio Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Germano de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Torres in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Torres in the 15th minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Cesar Criston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráuzio Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Cesar Criston when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gelp 22's Cesar Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Figueiredo in the 24th minute of play. Flamengo CIMZ's Tarcisio Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Amato in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Flamengo CIMZ's Cafu Torres made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesar Criston was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Kléberson Schmidt in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gelp 22's Arsenio Bitxintxo. Cesar Criston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Alfonso Urko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tarcisio Tasso. Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Godofredo Jerrold charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Jerrold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cafu Torres made a kick off. Jairo Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Tarcisio Tasso made a huge save. Duarte Figueiredo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes of play, Flamengo CIMZ's Cafu Torres made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesar Criston was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ignacio Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gelp 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Amato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcisio Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 played minutes Gelp 22 got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Jerrold. In the 77th minute, Kléberson Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cafu Torres put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cesar Criston. Cesar Criston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Duarte Figueiredo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gelp 22's Ignacio Amato quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee ended the match the Flamengo CIMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
