When Martin Blakewell fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barr Point's protests and gave Martin Blakewell a yellow card for diving instead. Lee Cook charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lee Cook the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Lee Cook got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Browne to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Oskar Josefsson, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kristopher Sharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barr Point's attack was well implemented in the 35th minute, but when Carl Browne was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Måns Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Sharpe in the 38th minute of play. If Kurt Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lee Cook was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Porjus's Måns Eliasson got control of the ball when Lee Cook tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Martin Blakewell hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Porjus got a freekick which was hit by Ture Berglund. Kristopher Sharpe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74th minute, Albin Stolpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kurt Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacha Lane having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lee Cook got free with Måns Eliasson in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 85 minutes, Kristopher Sharpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barr Point's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Sharpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barr Point's zone, Douglas Ahlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sacha Lane came out of the goal and Douglas Ahlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sacha Lane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Ström in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Oskar Josefsson during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Porjus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. The Barr Point players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Porjus from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
