Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Lee Cook started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Barr Point's Sacha Lane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Pereira in the 3rd minute of play. Belmiro Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Howarth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Sharpe in the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilson Braga during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Academia B.F. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gilson Braga hit a great ball. Erik Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sacha Lane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erik Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Gaz Atkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Guilherme Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Barr Point booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes, Luís Guilherme Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia B.F. and the Barr Point players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barr Point booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Lino Vaz. In the 36th match minute, Academia B.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Vaz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Academia B.F.'s Erik Pereira got a free kick in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Pereira made a kick off. Sacha Lane came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia B.F.'s Erik Pereira. But to his dismay, Erik Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 60thth minute of the game Kristopher Sharpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia B.F.'s Belmiro Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Guilherme Dionísio was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Academia B.F. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Dionísio hit a great ball. Academia B.F.'s Gilson Braga got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Gilson Braga off the ground. Gilson Braga hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Erik Pereira. Academia B.F.'s Belmiro Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Sharpe in the 74th minute of play. Eliézer Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Lee Cook shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Belmiro Godoi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eliézer Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacha Lane having to interfere. Kristopher Sharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
