The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Bastow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugh Tyson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by Ian Bastow. The supporters of Porjus booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Porter didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Stolpe in the 88th minute of play forced Carlisle United's goalkeeper Dion Jefferies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dion Jefferies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Ahlstedt in the 90th minute of the match. Ivan Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dion Jefferies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Leo Dalberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porjus and the Carlisle United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leo Dalberg hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
