Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) CeciForEver's Benigno Jakes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benigno Jakes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Remo da Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. CeciForEver's Saul Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo da Mata in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CeciForEver's Victorio Enmanuel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Luiz Fábio Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, CeciForEver's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Teles came free, but Saul Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Benigno Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. CeciForEver's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CeciForEver booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Luís Paulo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Adrian Lope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CeciForEver and the S S Palestra Italia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes CeciForEver got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Lope. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Paulo da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, CeciForEver's Silvio Paskal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silvio Paskal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CeciForEver protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silvio Paskal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 54 minutes into the game, one of CeciForEver:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Segundo Nicholas might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remo da Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo Nicholas ran back to his position shaking his head. CeciForEver's Segundo Nicholas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to CeciForEver getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Teodoro Kusko hit a great ball. CeciForEver's Saul Berto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save CeciForEver from getting a goal against them. Dagoberto Rossi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Teles. Remo da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Reyes's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Anderson Cosme hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Claudinei Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Saul Berto made a huge save. After 101 played minutes CeciForEver got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Reyes.
