Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marios Kassianidis made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Costică Darabonț. If Nechifor Ciurea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Costică Darabonț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giorgos Konstantellos came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Irimescu. But to his dismay, Iacob Irimescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Costică Darabonț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 29th play minutes Nechifor Ciurea shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Giorgos Konstantellos and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31st match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Cudalb to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in BE COOL's zone, Costică Darabonț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Konstantellos came out of the goal and Costică Darabonț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Nechifor Ciurea in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BE COOL's goalie prevented a goal. Mihail Onaca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apostolis Pappas in the 44th minute. Costică Darabonț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Giorgos Konstantellos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nechifor Ciurea was the one to do the kick off. Mihail Onaca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Boumis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to F.C CLUJ MEDICINA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aurelian Ivan hit a great ball. Mihail Onaca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Boumis in the 64th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Costică Darabonț. Vasile Gârdescu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Giorgos Konstantellos stood somewhat misplaced when Nechifor Ciurea came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Giorgos Konstantellos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Darabonț in the 80th minute of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Babbis Boumis sped through F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihail Onaca. Iacob Irimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Giorgos Konstantellos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Costică Darabonț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nechifor Ciurea struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Giorgos Konstantellos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C CLUJ MEDICINA.
