When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ricardo Arantes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Saul Berto to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, CeciForEver's Uriel Belmiro got a free kick in the 10th minute. Alex Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Lope in the 17th minute of the match. Joinville Esporte Clube's Alex Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Belmiro in the 22nd minute of play. Saul Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes CeciForEver got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Nicholas. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célio Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Saul Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Mattos in the 52nd minute of the match. Alex Pereira came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by CeciForEver's Benigno Jakes. But to his dismay, Benigno Jakes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, Segundo Nicholas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's Alex Pereira. Alex Pereira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the CeciForEver defense, Ricardo Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Berto. The CeciForEver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Berto should have stopped the shot. Saul Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Jakes in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Joinville Esporte Clube booed when CeciForEver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Gagriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Berto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Joinville Esporte Clube's Célio Mangueira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-2 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Mangueira in the 92nd minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Saul Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Ricardo Arantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Saul Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while CeciForEver had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
