Sava Vatrachki's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nechifor Ciurea got free with Mito Smilevski in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mito Smilevski was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Nechifor Ciurea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nechifor Ciurea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mihail Onaca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zahari Bratoev's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Mito Smilevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Ciurea in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Zahari Bratoev came free, but Mihail Onaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Onaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahari Bratoev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihail Onaca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sava Vatrachki went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nechifor Ciurea in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mito Smilevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mihail Onaca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Harabaliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Anko Katincharov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihail Onaca skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute Zahari Bratoev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Onaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Onaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milan Harabaliev in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Greblă to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zahari Bratoev made a kick off. Zahari Bratoev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Mihail Onaca made a huge save. Вежен's Zahari Bratoev got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
