The referee ignored Ralles Bollklubb's protests and gave Bo Eckegren a yellow card for diving instead. Pål Hult kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Karen FC's Bengt Bergkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Jönsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars Wållander hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Jonasson in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Ralles Bollklubb booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Sundén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Biörk kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Adrian Biörk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Asklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralles Bollklubb's Walter Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Wanner in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt got control of the ball when Rickard Springfält tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Jonasson came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johan Löfskog was the one to do the kick off. Bengt-Åke Smitt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Johan Löfskog came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ralles Bollklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Löfskog couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Karen FC's Calle Wanner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walter Jönsson. Walter Jönsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.
