Christian Araoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 14th minute, HFA FC's Ivan Mancio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivan Mancio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of HFA FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivan Mancio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of The Handsome Wizards UTD booed when HFA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Mancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Araoz made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Chris Barber sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, HFA FC's Anacleto Favila got a free kick in the 17th minute. Christian Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Sugden in the 20th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, The Handsome Wizards UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Furman came free, but Glyn Beesley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Mike Sugden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Guillen's late challenge caught a The Handsome Wizards UTD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Guillen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to HFA FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Edgard Guillen hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Barber got free with Christian Araoz in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Americo Furman charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Furman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to HFA FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Americo Furman hit a great ball. Glyn Beesley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Nayely in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Wilfredo Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Louis to make the kick off. Aristides Nayely struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Glyn Beesley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HFA FC. Glyn Beesley was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Aristides Nayely capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristides Nayely really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Faustino Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute, HFA FC's Aristides Nayely ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Glyn Beesley. Glyn Beesley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The Handsome Wizards UTD's Glyn Beesley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Nayely in the 62nd minute of play. Salvador Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Glyn Beesley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glyn Beesley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Cordeiro in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Aristides Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot. HFA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Nayely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glyn Beesley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Glyn Beesley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HFA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
