A collision led to Karen FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Teddi Bjørn hit a great ball. If Cezary Antoszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Danisiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachariasz Danisiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Mauda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Danisiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes of play Mauda's Zachariasz Danisiewicz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 35th match minute, Mauda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Danisiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Marek Rykaczewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Åke Smitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Mauda's Cezary Antoszewski made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Åke Smitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cezary Antoszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Smitt having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Krzysztof Mios made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Rykaczewski during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Mauda got a freekick which was hit by Marek Rykaczewski. Calle Wanner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Artur Walczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mats Asklund kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Witomir Pyrzyce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauda's supporters rose to their feet, but Witomir Pyrzyce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
