Bernard Ciupierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Wanner in the 14th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Karen FC defense, Aleksander Pankiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Åke Smitt. The Karen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Åke Smitt should have stopped the shot. Socjopaci's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Waldemar Karanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Åke Smitt. Karen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Karanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half Socjopaci were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Waldemar Karanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Smitt having to interfere. Fred-Marc Richter hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Bengt Bergkvist fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karen FC's protests and gave Bengt Bergkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Bengt Bergkvist got a free kick in the 97th minute. Socjopaci played a much better game than Karen FC and deserved their victory. The Karen FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
