Al-Slottshöjden's Joakim Busk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Bryk in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Sosnowe Klimaty booed when Al-Slottshöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes of play Al-Slottshöjden's Kim Lang was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 12 played minutes Al-Slottshöjden got a freekick which was hit by Kim Lang. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Bergstedt made a kick off. When Gustaf Eklund fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Slottshöjden's protests and gave Gustaf Eklund a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Al-Slottshöjden got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Eklund. Joakim Busk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Kornecki in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sosnowe Klimaty's Maksymilian Kornecki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joakim Busk. That made the score 0-1 after 64 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Maksymilian Kornecki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosnowe Klimaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Maksymilian Kornecki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Busk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Al-Slottshöjden's Martin Bergstedt in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joakim Busk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, Sosnowe Klimaty's Maksymilian Kornecki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Busk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sosnowe Klimaty walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
