In the 2nd minute Gösta Vollander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Grabski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ziemowit Bryk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes of play, Al-Slottshöjden's Walter Hellström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Grabski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leif Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Kornecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sebastian Dynda hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Janusz Grabski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janusz Grabski came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Slottshöjden's Martin Bergstedt. But to his dismay, Martin Bergstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Sosnowe Klimaty's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Vollander came free, but Janusz Grabski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al-Slottshöjden were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Sosnowe Klimaty's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eddie Arvidsson took the corner. After taking down the ball on Al-Slottshöjden's corner Eddie Arvidsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Janusz Grabski quite easily take care of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Bryk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leif Björklund. Al-Slottshöjden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ziemowit Bryk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alfred Hajder hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Bergstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Al-Slottshöjden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maksymilian Kornecki was slow to take the kick. During this time Sosnowe Klimaty's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sosnowe Klimaty's corner Maksymilian Kornecki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leif Björklund quite easily take care of the ball. Leif Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Bryk, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Al-Slottshöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bergstedt to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes, Maksymilian Kornecki made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Al-Slottshöjden's Leif Björklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maksymilian Kornecki scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leif Björklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ziemowit Bryk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Ziemowit Bryk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sosnowe Klimaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Bryk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maksymilian Kornecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Björklund having to interfere. Maksymilian Kornecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Kornecki in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Maksymilian Kornecki came free, but Leif Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Martin Bergstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Slottshöjden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Bergstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Al-Slottshöjden's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
