Nemesio Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afiz Butcher to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afriz Hian to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Cornelio Millrick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Chuan. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Millrick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ernesto Austin took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Chuan. Daniel Chuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Afiz Butcher got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 22 minutes into the match, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Florentino Garin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Afiz Butcher. In the 28th minute Ernesto Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Wei Xuan Chandran got a free kick in the 28th minute. Albirex Niigata FC were furious when Afiz Butcher was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Florentino Garin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Albirex Niigata FC's Daniel Chuan. 0-4. Ali Ramachandran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fausto Rosio made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's Wei Xuan Chandran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Rosio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Albirex Niigata FC's Ali Ramachandran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fausto Rosio. Fausto Rosio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Cornelio Millrick made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Hian in the 54th minute of play forced MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Fausto Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fausto Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Afriz Hian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Famih Swee in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Rosio saved MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN from getting behind. Ali Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Rosio having to interfere. Nemesio Remigio charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Remigio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nemesio Remigio kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's zone, Afriz Hian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Rosio came out of the goal and Afriz Hian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes of play, Albirex Niigata FC's Ali Ramachandran made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Rosio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Americo Txeru hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Xuan Chandran in the 79th minute of play forced MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Fausto Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ernesto Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Fausto Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Xuan Chandran in the 89th minute of play. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Americo Txeru got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Americo Txeru off the ground. In the 91st match minute, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Txeru to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's Wei Xuan Chandran broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Albirex Niigata FC side.
