Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sandrinho Pinho kicked off to start the match. Sawino SA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Sandrinho Pinho scored to the left of an out of position Marian Tomiczek, making the score, 1-0. Hieronim Watarz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Capibaribe Stars's Sandrinho Pinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marian Tomiczek. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Luz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Tomiczek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marian Tomiczek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sawino SA's Pankracy Zacharczyk got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eliseu Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Cipinski in the 30th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Varela. 35 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Tomiczek. Sawino SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witalis Cipinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Sawino SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Zacharczyk to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Paulo Tinoco took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Tomiczek. Marian Tomiczek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sawino SA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! 62 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Marian Tomiczek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sandrinho Pinho took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Tomiczek. Marian Tomiczek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Lukasz Warka's late challenge caught a Capibaribe Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukasz Warka helped the player get up and apologised. If Luiz Paulo Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Tomiczek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Pinho in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Tomiczek saved Sawino SA from getting behind. 86 minutes into the game, Capibaribe Stars's Sandrinho Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Tomiczek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Witalis Cipinski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Sandrinho Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Capibaribe Stars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
