Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Ramachandran started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Nemesio Remigio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Chuan. Daniel Chuan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Roque Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Ramachandran in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Nabar got free with Daniel Chuan in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Gustavo Etor made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Chuan. Albirex Niigata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Daniel Chuan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nemesio Remigio sent off a good shot on target. Albirex Niigata FC's Daniel Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Remigio in the 19th minute of play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Nemesio Remigio from a close distance when the talented Daniel Chuan managed to make a qualified save. Albirex Niigata FC's players were relieved. The supporters of MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakar Hsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Ramachandran scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Enol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Remigio. 42 minutes into the match, Nemesio Remigio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Chuan. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Remigio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Remigio in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Chuan saved Albirex Niigata FC from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Remigio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Remigio in the 59th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes, Afriz Hian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albirex Niigata FC and the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Afriz Hian. 62 minutes into the game, Nemesio Remigio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albirex Niigata FC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Nemesio Remigio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Roque Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Ramachandran in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Cristobal Nabar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Chuan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Cristobal Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Remigio in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Chuan saved Albirex Niigata FC from getting behind. Daniel Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Nabar in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Albirex Niigata FC's zone, Gustavo Etor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Chuan came out of the goal and Gustavo Etor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dale Lim hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Bakar Hsi lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 82nd match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakar Hsi to maneuver through the defense. When Florentino Garin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Garin couldn't finish the play. Daniel Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Nabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Roque Enol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Ramachandran in the 90th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Albirex Niigata FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN.
