The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renaut Van Gele struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Luisito Quinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All Stars Gent. In the 11th minute, Renaut Van Gele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Potencial Desperdiciado F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Guter to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Erwin-Alexander Peters sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Quinton skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Nicolas Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potencial Desperdiciado F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Guter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renaut Van Gele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Quinton having to interfere. The supporters of All Stars Gent booed when Potencial Desperdiciado F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Nicolas Guter got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Seppe den Pelsmaeker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Quinton having to interfere. Potencial Desperdiciado F's Luisito Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaut Van Gele in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Oinaz got free with Jorn Degraef in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, All Stars Gent's Renaut Van Gele got a free kick in the 45th minute. The long shot by Jacobo Frasquito in the 46th minute really tested Jorn Degraef's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nicolas Guter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Jorn Degraef when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Nicolas Guter made the kick off in the second half. Herminio Bastian struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Potencial Desperdiciado F got a corner. All Stars Gent's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romulo Izel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Potencial Desperdiciado F's Romulo Izel to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorn Degraef despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Seppe den Pelsmaeker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisito Quinton. That made the score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. After 60 minutes, Virgilio Oinaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potencial Desperdiciado F and the All Stars Gent players grew even worse after the yellow card. All Stars Gent's Erwin-Alexander Peters shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luisito Quinton but with some difficulty. Jorn Degraef didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Poncio went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute of the match, Seppe den Pelsmaeker tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luisito Quinton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Jeffery Luyten fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored All Stars Gent's protests and gave Jeffery Luyten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, All Stars Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffery Luyten to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Frasquito hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes, Nicolas Guter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potencial Desperdiciado F and the All Stars Gent players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Potencial Desperdiciado F got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Guter. Luisito Quinton was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Silvain Kerkhofs. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Potencial Desperdiciado F fans cheered their team off the field, for while All Stars Gent had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
