Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Fly T.T's Burl Reeves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Darnell Youngblood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Kirstein Luvard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's Burl Reeves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Baunbæk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan MacDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Frede Holts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Olivier Slaughter made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Fly T.T's Burl Reeves got a free kick in the 26th minute. Olivier Slaughter was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Anders Boutrup capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anders Boutrup really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a little luck, Fly T.T's Olivier Slaughter got control of the ball when Frede Holts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Darnell Youngblood kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frede Holts in the 33rd minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Olivier Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, FC Nordsjælland's Frede Holts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olivier Slaughter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 43 minutes, Coy Whitney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fly T.T and the FC Nordsjælland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Coy Whitney. After some careless play in the Fly T.T defense, Frede Holts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Slaughter. The Fly T.T fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Slaughter should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Kunst was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Frede Holts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nordsjælland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Gerry Boles hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Fly T.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano McKenna to maneuver through the defense. Olivier Slaughter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Boutrup went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Olivier Slaughter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Kunst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gérald Lunsford charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gérald Lunsford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Gérald Lunsford. Olivier Slaughter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frede Holts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Baunbæk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burl Reeves, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Darnell Youngblood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Pablo Bernhoft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Nordsjælland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fly T.T the free kick. The supporters of Fly T.T booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Bernhoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fly T.T's Ike Lafontaine couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Nordsjælland. A collision led to Fly T.T getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gérald Lunsford hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Kunst in the 75th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Olivier Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Kirstein Luvard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Nordsjælland and the Fly T.T players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fly T.T's Olivier Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frede Holts in the 84th minute of play. Gerry Boles kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Fly T.T defense, Frede Holts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Slaughter. The Fly T.T fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Slaughter should have stopped the shot. The attack was good, but when Burl Reeves in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Burl Reeves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hans Baunbæk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
