The supporters of Potencial Desperdiciado F booed when Set Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Nicolas Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Novais was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Potencial Desperdiciado F's Luisito Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Camarinha in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Potencial Desperdiciado F got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Guter. Marcelo Novais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A collision led to Potencial Desperdiciado F getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Herminio Bastian hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Potencial Desperdiciado F fans cheered their team off the field, for while Set Fire had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
