Yağızhan Haneci struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jorn Degraef didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL. 11 minutes into the match, Henry Dewinter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baransel Gündem, 1-0. The supporters of All Stars Gent booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birdal Oğuzbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Baransel Gündem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Dewinter. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Yağızhan Haneci got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Nabi Yörük scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorn Degraef, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL defense, Renaut Van Gele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baransel Gündem. The VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baransel Gündem should have stopped the shot. A collision led to VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Birdal Oğuzbay hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Renaut Van Gele managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Stars Gent's supporters rose to their feet, but Renaut Van Gele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baransel Gündem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Akay Hedef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Seppe den Pelsmaeker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Birdal Oğuzbay. Seppe den Pelsmaeker scored 4-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baransel Gündem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baransel Gündem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renaut Van Gele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Seppe den Pelsmaeker notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Baransel Gündem. Baransel Gündem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baransel Gündem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renaut Van Gele in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birdal Oğuzbay during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birdal Oğuzbay kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Seppe den Pelsmaeker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baransel Gündem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baransel Gündem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seppe den Pelsmaeker in the 77th minute of the match. If Ive Custermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renaut Van Gele might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baransel Gündem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renaut Van Gele ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee showed Akay Hedef the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Akay Hedef hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Baransel Gündem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seppe den Pelsmaeker in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Henry Dewinter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Stars Gent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Dewinter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All Stars Gent's Seppe den Pelsmaeker got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All Stars Gent walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
