Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yağızhan Haneci took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Ünal Songurhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL and the Fly T.T players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Ike Lafontaine. Ali Nabi Yörük could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Olivier Slaughter made a huge save. In the 7th match minute, Fly T.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gérald Lunsford to maneuver through the defense. Ali Nabi Yörük scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olivier Slaughter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute Yağızhan Haneci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's goalkeeper Olivier Slaughter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Nabi Yörük. Olivier Slaughter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızhan Haneci in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yağızhan Haneci in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olivier Slaughter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Burl Reeves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baransel Gündem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Gaffar Serim got a free kick in the 18th minute. Baransel Gündem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burl Reeves in the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yağızhan Haneci in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivier Slaughter saved Fly T.T from getting behind. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Ünal Songurhan got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Ünal Songurhan off the ground. In the 33rd minute Gérald Lunsford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baransel Gündem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Yağızhan Haneci hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's Darnell Youngblood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baransel Gündem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Ali Nabi Yörük got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burl Reeves made a kick off. The supporters of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL booed when Fly T.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léonard Keys didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Ali Nabi Yörük who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fly T.T's Olivier Slaughter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akay Hedef in the 56th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Olivier Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Nabi Yörük sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Baransel Gündem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burl Reeves in the 62nd minute of play. Darnell Youngblood succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 64th playminute. After 71 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Gérald Lunsford. If Gérald Lunsford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Necdet Ulubaş fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's protests and gave Necdet Ulubaş a yellow card for diving instead. Necdet Ulubaş hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léonard Keys got free with Baransel Gündem in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerry Boles's late challenge caught a VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerry Boles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL booed when Fly T.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Boles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davis McCabe scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baransel Gündem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gérald Lunsford hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the match was over Fly T.T could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL throughout the match.
