In the 27th match minute, Fly T.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léonard Keys to maneuver through the defense. Olivier Slaughter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seppe den Pelsmaeker in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Raymond Hartman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fly T.T and the All Stars Gent players grew even worse after the yellow card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Fly T.T:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Olivier Slaughter, was totally fooled by All Stars Gent's Erwin-Alexander Peters, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Olivier Slaughter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seppe den Pelsmaeker's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Seppe den Pelsmaeker charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seppe den Pelsmaeker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Seppe den Pelsmaeker. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seppe den Pelsmaeker in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivier Slaughter saved Fly T.T from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Renaut Van Gele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olivier Slaughter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seppe den Pelsmaeker went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seppe den Pelsmaeker made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Hartman. Fly T.T's Olivier Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Dewinter in the 55th minute of play. The throw-in from Cederique Biermans in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fly T.T's Darnell Youngblood. Jorn Degraef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burl Reeves, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Juan MacDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fly T.T's goalkeeper Olivier Slaughter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Léonard Keys. In the 68th minute Seppe den Pelsmaeker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Dewinter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Olivier Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivier Slaughter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seppe den Pelsmaeker, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. All Stars Gent's Renaut Van Gele got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Dewinter during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Henry Dewinter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seppe den Pelsmaeker in the 78th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Olivier Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Seppe den Pelsmaeker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Stars Gent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seppe den Pelsmaeker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's goal looked a bit too open when Renaut Van Gele came free, but Olivier Slaughter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fly T.T's Darnell Youngblood got a free kick in the 85th minute. Henry Dewinter kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
