Zemantauskas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílton Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Buinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Marin to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Negri during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Negri. In the 52nd minute, Alejo Loi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Buinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Rubens Reis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ceferino Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Almir Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Ceferino Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Marin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alejo Loi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Loi couldn't finish the play. If Ceferino Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute Ceferino Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Almir Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
