Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Astor Chago started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute, Joel de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Cisco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílton Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Astor Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Cruz having to interfere. Fernando Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Astor Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vipos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Ferreira in the 30th minute of play. Zemantauskas FC's Almir Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Chago in the 32nd minute of play. If Astor Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubens Reis during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rubens Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Amílton Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vipos FC booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílton Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Fernando Cisco made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílton Ferreira to make the kick off. Astor Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Chago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Almir Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Amílton Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Cisco. Vipos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 63rd match minute, Vipos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Beti to maneuver through the defense. Astor Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Almir Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes, Zemantauskas FC's Maurinho Albuquerque shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Cisco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zemantauskas FC reached it. Arturo Oliverio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Vipos FC's Modesto Marino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The supporters of Vipos FC booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
