Dário Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Guillelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Chesterfield's Silvestre Bizi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Didi Secco, made in the 7th minute of the game. Luiz Fabiano Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ciriaco Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Flavio Guillelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Virila came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolas Simões. But to his dismay, Nicolas Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luiz Fabiano Tasso's late challenge caught a Chesterfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fabiano Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Master Champion BMX Flat getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Tasso hit a great ball. André Luiz de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Tasso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciriaco Virila. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Tasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Virila was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Josué das Neves got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Chesterfield booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Simões kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciriaco Virila. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Gelacio made a kick off. Dário Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Guillelme in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Silvestre Bizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edson Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Master Champion BMX Flat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Guimarães couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Simões in the 66th minute of play forced Chesterfield's goalkeeper Ciriaco Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chesterfield's Lucas Rey quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roger Motta, made in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Master Champion BMX Flat's goalkeeper Dário Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Gelacio. 82 minutes into the game, one of Master Champion BMX Flat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Astor Jax walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 93rd minute Faustão Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Master Champion BMX Flat's Luiz Fabiano Tasso in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chesterfield's goalie prevented a goal. If Astor Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Master Champion BMX Flat players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
