Dário Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Polar Ice Caps getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Polar Ice Caps's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 77 minutes into the game, Master Champion BMX Flat's André Luiz de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Polar Ice Caps's Bengt Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Tasso in the 80th minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolas Simões made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Holmberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Master Champion BMX Flat were the better team. Master Champion BMX Flat's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
