In the 11thth minute of the game Honorio Oihenarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ERGOTELIS's Panagiotis Kastanis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christos Dimitriadis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Panagiotis Kastanis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victoriano Satordi. In the 18th minute, Felipe Geleberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konurbano Atletico's Alejandro Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Dimitriadis in the 23rd minute of play. Felipe Geleberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Panagiotis Kastanis made a huge save. In the 39th match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Leocadio to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Honorio Oihenarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panagiotis Kastanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaggelis Tsigounakis was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Konurbano Atletico's Honorio Oihenarte got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Dimitriadis in the 59th minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Alejandro Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Krasakis came free, but Alejandro Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Christos Dimitriadis. Dimitris Krasakis's late challenge caught a Konurbano Atletico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Krasakis helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Krasakis. Victoriano Satordi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Panagiotis Kastanis. ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. During the 84th minute of the match Christos Dimitriadis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Christos Dimitriadis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. ERGOTELIS's Panagiotis Kastanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Natal in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Konurbano Atletico fans cheered their team off the field, for while ERGOTELIS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
