Pavel Žalud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Uxio's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Dusil came free, but Ubaldo Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Božek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Quilino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pardubice Hurricanes's zone, Severino Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Žalud came out of the goal and Severino Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestiales's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pardubice Hurricanes had won, even though Celestiales had held more of the ball.
