Panagiotis Kastanis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nikos Kontosoros hit a great ball. After the first half ERGOTELIS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaggelis Tsigounakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilliam Roelandts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Kastanis having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Lenny Van de Poel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diederik Huijberechts hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. ERGOTELIS's Panagiotis Kastanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Van De Wijngaert in the 94th minute of play. Many of ERGOTELIS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. ERGOTELIS may have spent more time on the ball, but Limburg United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
