Clinton Starnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Burutzagi Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CD Municipal were furious when Isias Corono was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for S.D. Bajen. Clinton Starnes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Burutzagi Romero. 0-1. CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odell McPherson in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, S.D. Bajen's Robbie Parson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burutzagi Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, S.D. Bajen's Mohammed Cagle got control of the ball when Telmo Castejon tried to sneak it across the goal line. CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clinton Starnes in the 28th minute of play. Odell McPherson took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Burutzagi Romero. Burutzagi Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half S.D. Bajen were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Odell McPherson made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Odell McPherson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Burutzagi Romero. The goal made the score 1-5. In the 68th minute, Telmo Castejon made a precise shot to the right of Mohammed Cagle. S.D. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. In the 72nd minute Odell McPherson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burutzagi Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kemen Zalon hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's Clinton Starnes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Burutzagi Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Odell McPherson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-6 to the left of a surprised Burutzagi Romero 79 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Clinton Starnes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Burutzagi Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Clinton Starnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burutzagi Romero having to interfere.
