Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Gaskon in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panagiotis Kastanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severino Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Tsigounakis in the 22nd minute of play forced Celestiales's goalkeeper Ubaldo Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hilario Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Rizos. 30 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goalkeeper Ubaldo Quilino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vaggelis Tsigounakis. 33 minutes into the game, Severino Gaskon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Panagiotis Kastanis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Filomeno Orlondon hit a great ball. Ubaldo Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Tsigounakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Gaskon made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Vaggelis Tsigounakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Quilino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 60th minute, Ernesto Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Celestiales's zone, Vaggelis Tsigounakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Quilino came out of the goal and Vaggelis Tsigounakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ERGOTELIS's Christos Dimitriadis got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ernesto Abalos hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match Thymios Vourousis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ubaldo Quilino skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Celestiales booed when ERGOTELIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniil Vardakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ERGOTELIS's zone, Severino Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panagiotis Kastanis came out of the goal and Severino Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ERGOTELIS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
