Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edgard Leme got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Unidade Pinto Louco's zone, Clinton Starnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Félix came out of the goal and Clinton Starnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohammed Cagle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Leme in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Odell McPherson. With an all-out effort, Unidade Pinto Louco's Mohammed Cagle threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgard Leme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Odell McPherson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Yuri Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Leme in the 19th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Mohammed Cagle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, S.D. Bajen's Mohammed Cagle got control of the ball when Yuri Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Antonio Darby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Darby hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Umberto Aparecido scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohammed Cagle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, S.D. Bajen's Odell McPherson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmo Félix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Clinton Starnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clinton Starnes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Unidade Pinto Louco's Yuri Martins got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Clinton Starnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Félix. Unidade Pinto Louco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clinton Starnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half S.D. Bajen were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Odell McPherson made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Devon Pollard. Mohammed Cagle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Gomes in the 57th minute of play. Devon Pollard charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devon Pollard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Devon Pollard got a free kick in the 58th minute. Mohammed Cagle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Aparecido in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Unidade Pinto Louco's Edgard Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammed Cagle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Cagle having to interfere. Mohammed Cagle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Martins in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Edgard Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidade Pinto Louco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Devon Pollard got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jacinto Pinto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Clinton Starnes made a precise shot to the right of Dalmo Félix. Unidade Pinto Louco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Edgard Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Rogério Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidade Pinto Louco and the S.D. Bajen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalmo Félix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brickeen Wall went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. The S.D. Bajen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.D. Bajen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
