Egídio Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Leme to make the kick off. In the 75th minute Yuri Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Vorster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Vorster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Martins in the 79th minute of play. Edgard Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Vorster having to interfere.
