Burutzagi Romero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Odell McPherson came free, but Burutzagi Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaztea Rubin in the 13th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Mohammed Cagle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Gaztea Rubin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lapurdi Collazo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Odell McPherson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Burutzagi Romero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute Lapurdi Collazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Cagle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Castejon came free, but Mohammed Cagle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burutzagi Romero came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by S.D. Bajen's Robbie Parson. But to his dismay, Robbie Parson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 28th play minute Clinton Starnes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Burutzagi Romero. 3-0. CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odell McPherson in the 31st minute of play. Burutzagi Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odell McPherson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mambru Entrala kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Burutzagi Romero, was totally fooled by S.D. Bajen's Clinton Starnes, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lapurdi Collazo to strike the kick off in the second half. Robbie Parson might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Burutzagi Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Parson ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Mohammed Cagle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telmo Castejon. In a very dangerous position, a player in CD Municipal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! When Odell McPherson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the S.D. Bajen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odell McPherson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clinton Starnes in the 66th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Burutzagi Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Castejon. After 71 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Kemen Zalon. Odell McPherson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Burutzagi Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.D. Bajen. Kemen Zalon kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Odell McPherson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Burutzagi Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burutzagi Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clinton Starnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Montxo Avecilla. Odell McPherson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after S.D. Bajen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cornelio Rigueiro took the corner. 93 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Mohammed Cagle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telmo Castejon. Mohammed Cagle was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Telmo Castejon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Telmo Castejon really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. S.D. Bajen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
