Aírton Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Müjdat Balıkçı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VARGINHA FC's Aírton Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Hamílton Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC juveMET defense, Denílson Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Müjdat Balıkçı. The FC juveMET fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Müjdat Balıkçı should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamílton Terra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Müjdat Balıkçı. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Gabriel Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necati Uluöz in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, VARGINHA FC's Denílson Vidal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Müjdat Balıkçı was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th match minute, FC juveMET was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korcan Satuk to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Hamílton Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes, VARGINHA FC's Paulão Nóbrega shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Müjdat Balıkçı came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VARGINHA FC reached it. Ali Baran Lut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Müjdat Balıkçı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müjdat Balıkçı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes FC juveMET got a freekick which was hit by Yetkiner Vacit. Paulão Nóbrega made a nice solo performance in the 48th minute, and after some fine dribblings he sent off a powerful shot that went into the goal just inside the left post, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doruk Mürsel was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Cido Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hidayet Sarik's late challenge caught a VARGINHA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hidayet Sarik helped the player get up and apologised. Hidayet Sarik hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cido Paraense scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müjdat Balıkçı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Müjdat Balıkçı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, FC juveMET's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Paraense came free, but Müjdat Balıkçı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC juveMET's Müjdat Balıkçı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Terra in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when FC juveMET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaffar Ilımlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Luís Guilherme Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Müjdat Balıkçı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Denílson Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the VARGINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Vidal couldn't finish the play. A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gustavo Rocha hit a great ball.
