Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arno Zonneveld took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Ildefonso Cuello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harold Breugel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iliana Vielva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soter Cacho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Harold Breugel made a huge save. Iliana Vielva's late challenge caught a Pannekoeken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iliana Vielva helped the player get up and apologised. Arno Zonneveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Honrio Moñiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Rafael Lambers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pannekoeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Lambers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honrio Moñiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Oliver Kruit got a free kick in the 29th minute. Real Unión CF's Pes Roca got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Huub Barends hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rozarius Buron in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold Breugel saved Pannekoeken from getting behind. Harold Breugel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rozarius Buron in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Real Unión CF's Soter Cacho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Martien Crans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arno Zonneveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iliana Vielva to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soter Cacho in the 52nd minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Harold Breugel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pannekoeken's Harold Breugel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soter Cacho in the 73rd minute of play. Harold Breugel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soter Cacho's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Arno Zonneveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Honrio Moñiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Cuello hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Pannekoeken's Arno Zonneveld got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Lambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honrio Moñiz having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Stephan Overmars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honrio Moñiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Real Unión CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
