In the 2nd minute, Gustavo Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şeref Tüzel in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Aírton Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fikri Yanar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fikri Yanar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Paraense in the 5th minute of play. Fikri Yanar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Fikri Yanar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Hamílton Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fikri Yanar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Medeiros was a little too slow when Ali Asım Torehan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gustavo Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Eskiekin's Münir Özbal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, VARGINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Pinho to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Ali Asım Torehan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of VARGINHA FC's Gabriel Medeiros. Gabriel Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when Eskiekin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Asım Torehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eskiekin's Fikri Yanar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Vidal in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Eskiekin's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Terra came free, but Fikri Yanar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ali Asım Torehan sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Paulão Nóbrega sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eskiekin's Fikri Yanar didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamílton Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mehmet Hamdi Servet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fikri Yanar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aírton Maciel in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as VARGINHA FC's Cido Paraense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fikri Yanar. That made the score 2-1 after 59 minutes of play. With a little luck, Eskiekin's Fikri Yanar got control of the ball when Aírton Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fikri Yanar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Terra in the 63rd minute of the match. Fikri Yanar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Terra in the 66th minute of play. VARGINHA FC's Hamílton Terra managed to work through Eskiekin's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Hamílton Terra dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 74 minutes, Münir Özbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eskiekin and the VARGINHA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Münir Özbal kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Fikri Yanar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão do Nascimento in the 83rd minute of play. VARGINHA FC's Gabriel Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hamdi Servet in the 85th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Neves's late challenge caught a Eskiekin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Many of VARGINHA FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. VARGINHA FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Eskiekin were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
