Caio Caiado kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Vibjörnsson got free with Jorge Boaventura in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PLURAL's Aloísio Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PLURAL's Jorge Boaventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Blomqvist in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of PLURAL booed when KIA KAHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Siöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aloísio Vides struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tor Magnusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLURAL. Tor Magnusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nélson Peixoto went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Aloísio Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes, Yuri Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PLURAL and the KIA KAHA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tommy Vibjörnsson scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Boaventura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Aloísio Vides made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KIA KAHA booed when PLURAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Karl-Magnus Telin fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KIA KAHA's protests and gave Karl-Magnus Telin a yellow card for diving instead. KIA KAHA made a substitution. Knut Nordin replaced Oliver Blomqvist. In the 59th minute, Karl-Magnus Telin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Tommy Vibjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KIA KAHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Vibjörnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Nordin in the 67th minute of play forced PLURAL's goalkeeper Jorge Boaventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Boaventura having to interfere. Håkan Kellberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match.
