With a little luck, Eleven Nation Army's Joakim Lilja got control of the ball when Vidal Cantabrana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guillen Mijangos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Brander, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Brander in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nesor Ennecon to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Brander came free, but Guillen Mijangos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dag Classon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillen Mijangos came out and tried to block the shot, but Dag Classon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 51st minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Vidal Cantabrana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eleven Nation Army's Joakim Lilja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vidal Cantabrana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Joakim Lilja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Bonifacio Echarriza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vidal Cantabrana in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joakim Lilja saved Eleven Nation Army from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Myr to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Erasto Tella got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Conny Widberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillen Mijangos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Guillen Mijangos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Brander in the 71st minute of the match. If Vidal Cantabrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Universitario's Guillen Mijangos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Universitario from getting a goal against them. Universitario's Guillen Mijangos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Classon in the 89th minute of play. Argi Rionda hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Dag Classon fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eleven Nation Army's protests and gave Dag Classon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Eleven Nation Army's Dag Classon got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Universitario booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Brander didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Eleven Nation Army could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Universitario throughout the match.
