An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Brander in the 21st minute of play forced Trinidad 4.7's goalkeeper Ramiro Arano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfonso Odol fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinidad 4.7's protests and gave Alfonso Odol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Trinidad 4.7 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alfonso Odol hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Aleksander Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes Eleven Nation Army got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Lindqvist. Ramiro Arano was a little too slow when Aleksander Brander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-1. After 60 minutes, Dag Classon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eleven Nation Army and the Trinidad 4.7 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Eleven Nation Army got a freekick which was hit by Dag Classon. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Trinidad 4.7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Perpinya didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ismael Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trinidad 4.7's Ismael Palban got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conny Widberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ramiro Arano made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Guerrero in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joakim Lilja saved Eleven Nation Army from getting behind. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Trinidad 4.7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Theodore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dag Classon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Conny Widberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramiro Arano. Conny Widberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Trinidad 4.7's Ramiro Arano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Trinidad 4.7 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Trinidad 4.7's Candido Bittor got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eleven Nation Army eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
