Joakim Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Joakim Lilja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Mambru. In the 14th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Målare to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Gonzalo Mambru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joakim Lilja skillfully saved the ball. After 16 minutes, Mikael Brodin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eleven Nation Army and the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Brodin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Erramu came free, but Joakim Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Mambru got free with Joakim Lilja in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Holger Brovall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Dionisio Nesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's Paul Lundqvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jeronimo Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Widberg in the 31st minute of the match. Candido Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Martin Erramu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eleven Nation Army's Joakim Lilja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Aleksander Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gonzalo Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Lilja having to interfere. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eleven Nation Army were winning 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Gonzalo Mambru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 59 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Martin Erramu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Lilja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonzalo Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eleven Nation Army's Conny Widberg got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aleksander Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joakim Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Erramu in the 77th minute of the match. Conny Widberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Candido Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Aleksander Brander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeronimo Abella. That made the score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. Joakim Lilja came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Martin Erramu. But to his dismay, Martin Erramu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. If Conny Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
