Guillen Mijangos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Guerrero went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Santo Theodore took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillen Mijangos. Guillen Mijangos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Theodore came free, but Guillen Mijangos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillen Mijangos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Trinidad 4.7's Candido Bittor got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ramiro Arano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Restu Pineda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Guerrero to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Trinidad 4.7's Santo Theodore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillen Mijangos. That made the score 0-3 after 52 minutes of play. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bonifacio Echarriza hit a great ball. If Vidal Cantabrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Trinidad 4.7 got a freekick which was hit by Candido Bittor. Guillen Mijangos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Theodore in the 69th minute of play. Vidal Cantabrana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Arano having to interfere. With a little luck, Universitario's Guillen Mijangos got control of the ball when Santo Theodore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Universitario's Guillen Mijangos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Theodore in the 79th minute of play. Ramiro Arano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argi Rionda, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Trinidad 4.7 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Universitario throughout the match.
