Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Corinthians's Víktor Sarmento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gonçalo de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo de Lara couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Corinthians's Tomás Munhoz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Tomás Munhoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustão Motta's late challenge caught a FC Wingspan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustão Motta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Faustão Motta hit a great ball. Mats Eckegren was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Gonçalo de Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gonçalo de Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 26th minute Tomás Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Hugo Bruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wingspan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Bruse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

FC Wingspan's Mats Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Sarmento in the 62nd minute of play. Gonçalo de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Motta. 87 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goalkeeper Delfim Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Jonsson. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Corinthians had played much better football throughout.
